Bugün size dolmakalemlerin kutsal kasesi olarak bilinen kalemlerden birini tanıtmaktan mutluluk duyuyorum. Neden mutluluk duyduğumu, postun sonundaki yazı örneğinden anlayabilirsiniz. Pelikan M1000, Pelikan'ın amiral gemisi. Boyut olarak da en büyük kalemlerinden biri. Şimdilik gramıydı, santimiydi sizi sıkmak istemiyorum. Daha sonra tüm Pelikan ailesinin ölçülerini içeren bir post yapacağım.
Kalemin kendisi hakkında söylenecek çok bir şey yok. Bildiğimiz ince işçilikli, piston mekanizmalı, reçine gövdeli Pelikan Souveran. Ancak M1000'in ucunun şimdiye kadar denediğim tüm Pelikan'lar ve hatta tüm kalemler içinde açık ara farklı, esnek ve yaylı (springy) olduğunu söylemeliyim. Benim kullandığım kalemdeki uç Oblique Broad. Yani sağa doğru hafif açı verilmiş. 18 ayar altından yapılmış uç, ekstra bir esnekliğe de sahip. Hatta ben Namiki Falcon'dan daha bile esnek buldum diyebilirim.
Yazı örneğinden göreceğiniz üzere, hiç efor sarf etmeden harika bir çizgi genişliği yakalamak mümkün. Kalem kağıdın üzerinde akarcasına ilerliyor ve en ufak bir değişikliğe anında tepki veriyor.
Kalemin 1700-2500 TL arasında değişen fiyatını saymazsak, benim için en büyük eksisi biraz fazla büyük olan boyutları. Bunun dışında ucu ile, mükemmel işçiliği ile harika bir kalem.

Today, I would like to introduce one of the pens that can be easily referred as Holy Grail of Fountain Pens. You can see why I loved it so much within the writing sample at the end of the post. Pelikan M1000 is admiral ship of Pelikan brand. And it is one of the biggest in size. I really do not want to bother you with grams, centimeters and so on right now, but I will prepare a post about the sizes of Pelikan family.
There is nothing much to say about the pen itself. It is a regular Pelikan Souveran with fine craftmanship, good piston mechanism and nice resin body. However, the nib of Pelikan M1000 is the best flexible and springy nib I have ever tried by far. The one I used is Oblique Medium, which is slightly leaned towards right end. It was made of 18K gold and has an extra flexibility. I can say it is somehow more flexible than Namiki Falcon.
As you can notice from the writing sample, you can have great line variation without spending extra efort. Pen is sliding on the paper like butter and it responds every bit of pressure.
Except the price range of the pen, I think the only disadvantage of this pen is its big size. But of course I am a woman with small hands so it might not be a disadvantage of someone else at all. It is a perfect pen with great nib and nice craftmanship.
