Bu blog yolcuğuluna ilk başladığımda, önceden tanıdığım ve dolmakalemlere ilgisi olduğunu bildiğim bir kaç kişiden başka yalnız olacağımı düşünmüştüm. Hatta blog adımı İngilizce almamdaki sebep de buydu. Ancak henüz bir sene olmadan blogun neredeyse 400 izleyiciye ulaşmış olması beni gerçekten şaşırttı. Blog sayesinde çok güzel insanlar tanıdım ve tanımaya da devam ediyorum. Ve blogun dünyanın pek çok yerine, Türkiye'nin dört bir yanına ulaştığını fark edince "iyi ki, bir cesaret bu işe adım atmışım" demekten kendimi alamıyorum.
Örneğin; bu posttaki iki görsel de bana ait değil. Hakkari'den bana ulaşan bir okuyucum (kendisi izin verirse adını da yazabilirim) blogumu takip ettiğini ve bu görselleri benim için hazırladığını söyleyince neredeyse gözlerim doldu. Dışarıdan bakıldığında hiç tanımadığınız birinin sizin için yaptığı bir jest gibi görünse de, aslında buraya yazdıklarımla, fotoğraflarla, çizgilerle, üslupla ben size kendime dair pek çok şey anlatmış oluyorum. Siz de gerek bıraktığınız yorumlarla, gerek e-maillerinizle ve hatta mektuplarınızla bana çok şey anlatıyorsunuz ve birbirimize yabancı olmaktan çıkıp, uzun yıllardır tanışan arkadaşlara dönüşüyoruz.
Bu güzel duyguyu yaşattığınız için hepinize çok teşekkür ediyorum. Umarım ben de sizin kalplerinize dokunabilmişimdir.

CONTINUE to READ in ENGLISH
When I first started this journey, I thought I would be alone except a few people I knew in the first place. This was the main reason that I choose a blog name in English. However, I was quite surprised to reach nearly 400 follower before it has been a year since I started blogging. I met with wonderful people via this blog and I still keep meeting with new ones. And I can't keep myself saying that "I am glad that I couraged myself into this thing" everytime I realize that my blog reaches to different countries in the world and many places in Turkey.
For example, these two visuals on this post don't belong to me. One of my readers from Hakkari sent me an e-mail saying that he follows my blog and prepared those visuals for me and I was moved to tears. Looking from outside, it might have seen as a stranger making a gesture for another stranger. But actually this is not true. With my writings, photographs, my drawings and with my tone, I tell a lot about myself. You also, tell me a lot about yourself with your comments, e-mails and even with your letters. Therefore, we are not strangers for anymore and we quite know eachother for a long time.
I want to thank you all for making me feel this way. I hope I did also have chance to touch your hearts.
